MSPCA Nevins Farm

With its strategic location and continuing increase in animal guests, Nevins Farm was in dire need of expertly designed space. This center is one of the busiest of the MSPCA facilities, caring for over 7,000 animals each year. This organization needed the extra space, technology, and efficient planning to make the most out of their resources.

In the first phase, Blue Sky was able to work with Nevins Farm management to come up with a campus plan for the best usage of their 63 acres of land. For the second phase, the team at Blue Sky then planned the beautiful new structure that opened in November of 2004.

The building is 18,000 square feet with many more spaces for animals, employees, and guests. There are new cat and dog kennels, a new retail center catering to adopters, new surgery rooms, new play areas for canine and feline guests, and a custom designed display area for adoptable cats. This new building added to the already impressive facility in Methuen, MA, making it an even more integral part of the MSPCA.
